The Tattoo Collection

This is a collection that holds a a lot of meaning for Me.

Tattoos were really a part of showing who I felt like I was internally on the outside. They felt like they were putting me back in the drivers seat of my own life, a moment to feel like I was in control.

I also just loved the idea of being able to wear the art that I loved forever.

And even the shit ones, the ones I got before I had a fully formed frontal lobe still have memories and moments that they take me back to. So I never regret any of my Tattoos because they are a part of me now.

This collection is tough but its also soft. This is something that was really intentional because I think people see tattoos as this tough and scary thing, but in actual fact its so deep and so meaningful for so many of us.

For many it's covering up parts that people want to change, or its a memory of a loved one, or its a symbol of a commitment.

The more you meet and talk with people who have tattoos are or are tattoo artists you realise that its not tough and scary and intimidating. Some of the most gentle kind people I have ever met are absolutely covered head to toe in tattoos.

This was another reason I chose to use denim to accompany this collection because its engrained in tradition like tattoos. Its a fabric that gets better with age, and carries stories the same way tattoos do.

Tattoos and denim go together like Tequila and Lime.
